Tax Deed Auctions in Gulf County Going Online!

Gulf County will use the RealAuction platform for its Tax Deed sales, allowing bidders to enjoy the convenience of bidding remotely.

Bidders who register on the RealAuction website will be able to see upcoming sales, place bids, and monitor auctions and their own bidder accounts. Funds for deposits and winning bids can be paid by cash, certified check/money order, or electronically by wire transfer.

To prepare our customers for this transition, RealAuction will be conducting live online bidder training on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. RealAuction typically provides weekly bidder training webinars for Florida.

If you are interested in attending the online training session, please call RealAuction customer service at 1- 877-361-7325, or email customerservice@realauction.com to register for the event.

Beginning August 2, 2021, customers can visit the RealAuction website at https://gulf.realtaxdeed.com for FAQ and bidder registration.

Mark your calendars! Gulf County’s first online auction is scheduled for Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

 

The Clerk of the Circuit Court is statutorily responsible for conducting Tax Deed Sales and issuing a Tax Deed in the name of the County to the successful high bidder at a sale.

Tax Deed Sales and the issuance of Tax Deeds are governed by Chapter 197, Florida Statutes.

The procedure involves a Tax Certificate Holder applying for a Tax Deed through the Tax Collector. (Tax Certificates are sold to collect delinquent taxes).

There is no case filed in court and no court order is issued for the Clerk to conduct a Tax Deed Sale.

Tax Deed Sales Auctions will be held in increments starting at 10:00 AM EST.

Auctions will continue until all scheduled auctions are completed.   

Due to COVID-19, ALL participants are required to Social Distance.

Auctions are limited to those individuals who will actively participate in the auction.
